it sparkles for you…
I always saw sparkling wine as a drink you have for very special of occasions, but wanted to do something special like an ice wine spritzer. One where there are happy tears, excitement, joy, bliss and… cake. Always cake. But when I got to the UK, the country that consumes heaps of prosecco a year, I quickly realized that every moment is worth celebrating. I almost felt the romanticism behind the sparkles were lost. To me, each sparkle is an opportunity to celebrate and spread a bit of love and happiness. So it only seemed natural, we put together a little concoction with some sparkle for Valentine’s day. To celebrate friendships and our loved ones. A unique twist on things, some ice wine straight from Canada adds a touch of sweetness and the rosé supplies the bubbles and pretty hues. It’s a gorgeous one too, isn’t it? Here’s my take on an ice wine spritzer!
Absolutely sweet in flavor, have you ever had ice wine? The prosecco in my ice wine spitzer truly breaks the sweetness making it a super palatable drink to have over and over again!

Ice Wine Valentine Spritzer
ingredients
- 1-2 oz Ice Wine
- 3 oz rose prosecco
- raspberries & mint
method
Muddle the mint and ice wine to release some of the flavor and oils. Top off with prosecco and raspberries. Serve over ice or chilled.
