The last few weeks, rather several, have been those weeks packed with work and a little rendezvous, a stroll, some shopping, a cake date. They have been nice, a nice escape from the norms of meetings, classes, lectures and deadlines. I’ve finally caught up with my friends back in the States and everywhere else and even had time to organize and clean. It’s like spring cleaning, but I would rather call it spring catching-up. Catching up on lost times while school was in session and with the warmer, sunnier weather upon us, I’m enjoying this extra bliss.
I have been frequenting to cafes with my friend, Lizzie, to sample some teas and cakes and talk poetry. These were just a few shots from our last two outings, which left me begging for more scones and deep discussions.
With the weekend continuing to be in my favor, I may be doing a bit of meandering and cafe visiting. What are your plans this weekend?
