An Escape to an Indian Summer

Summer has essentially come and gone in the blink of an eye. I’ve been trying to hold onto the little bits that remind me most of this part of my life. This summer has been defined by an escape from what my summers usually consist of. Everyone itches for an escape every now and then and I know I’ve craved an emancipation from everyday life. Now, however, I’m looking for the avenues that take me back to where I came from. I think this escape was just long enough for me to realize that what I had and have is just what I need. Nothing more or less. This is not to say I haven’t enjoyed the escape, but I think it’s time to get back to reality.
