It was a few weeks back that I was talking to a friend about North London and she told me about the Notting Hill of that area named Primrose Hill! I won’t lie, I didn’t know it existed and definitely didn’t know about things to do in Primrose Hill. She told me it was a little enclave of London that is really just perfect and there is plenty of things to do in Primrose Hill no matter the season. If you’re planning on visiting Camden Market or Kentish Town then don’t forget to stop by Primrose Hill. It’s a totally different neighborhood from its surroundings, but I do think it’s a cute place to spend an afternoon or even a late morning over a weekend! It was super chilly on the day my friend Natalia and I went, so when we were looking for things to do in Primrose Hill we wanted to make sure we were going in and out of cute shops and cafes to get a bit of warmth! Here are a few things to do in Primrose Hill if you’re spending part of the day there!

View from Primrose Hill

When you walk from Chalk Farm station to Primrose Hill about 10 minutes away, you’ll be greeted with a steep hill and a vast park. I will admit that walking up the hill is tough, but walking through the greens at a slant towards the peak is a lot easier. Definitely make this either your first or last top if you’re looking for things to do in Primrose Hill because it’s got a really great view of London! In the summer, I would take a picnic with my friends and enjoy it there with what feels like all of London. In the winter, perhaps grab a coffee to go and head over for the view before heading home!

Flowers from Fitzroy’s Flowers

Regent’s Park Road is the main high street in Primrose Hill and is speckled with the cutest boutiques, shops, and florists. Each shop has their own flaire and speciality, so it’s worth stopping and taking a look. I love Fitzroy’s because there are so many little trinkets and home decor along with stunning flowers! The shop itself smells divine! If you’re heading home after, then be sure to pick up a bouquet to go!

Peruse Primrose Hill Books

The bookshop is situated right at the start of the highstreet across from Fitzroy’s in a Victorian terrace. Trust me when I say I can spend hours in a bookshop and this is not an exception. Primrose Hill Books houses all the newest releases and prominent authors you’ll definitely know. I love their greeting card collection and cookbook selection!

Brunch at Greenberry Cafe

Do you notice why I said you should head out to Primrose Hill on a weekend morning? This brunch is definitely one of the things to do in Primrose Hill! Since it was a chilly day when I headed out with Natalia, Greenberry Cafe felt like a true treat! They’ve got a great rose petal hot chocolate and a lovely menu full of brunch classics. The green canopy will definitely lure you in!

Coffee at Ripe Kitchen

If you’re looking for two things to do in Primrose Hill because of time then definitely add Ripe Kitchen to your list. Love the idea of a coffee and sweet treat that the Europeans and British indulge in so well? Well, this place screams that! The baked treats and savory variety are exceptional as is the coffee and teas!

Grab an Instagram at Chalcot Square

The best part of this corner of London is that if you went through all these things to do in Primrose Hill then you won’t be wasting much of your time! Primrose Hill is siginificantly smaller in size compared to some of the other prominent places in London, so walking around is a true treat. If you’re curious as to where the colorful houses are in Primrose Hill then head over to Chalcot Square right behind the high street! It’s exceptional! I took these photos from how I prepare for summer there!
