Scottish Summertime

Scottish summertime is full of light. It’s funny how light, something we take for granted, manipulates and teases our emotions.

The light has been beautifully pouring into St. Andrews, making the sea glisten and draping over the distant mountains bringing an uplifting mood. As you probably noticed from previous posts and the constant banter about the ill-weather, I’ve found a rejuvenated appreciation for the outdoor experience in St. Andrews and well… Scotland in general. It must be that the sunlight and its warmth takes me back to the Indian summers spent with my family last year capturing every moment and holding onto memories.

Light calls for an evening spent outside blowing on dandelions and admiring the bluebells and gradually catching the daisies close up as the day comes to an end.
