It’s probably the warmth or the sprouting of beautiful flowers or the fact that longer days invite people to enjoy the outdoors. Lately I’ve been more inspired by my surroundings than some of my favorite street style blogs and the pages of the most coveted magazines like Vogue and Elle. I’ve always loved green and think the color is extraordinary on all skintones. I just can’t help but feel that green doesn’t get the recognition and hype it deserves. I don’t naturally reach for a green piece when I’m out shopping, but when I do I don’t ever regret it. It’s become one of my favorite colors as it symbolizes strengths, health and prosperity. Translating that into an outfit is the right way to embrace the color and what it means.
I decided to add a little shimmer with green like in this sequin skirt and my new Gretchen earrings from Sissy Yates Designs. in my humble opinion, color adds tone and mood to your look and various textures adds personality.
