It seems that when 1st of December made its appearance the weather turned from cool to quite brisk. I don’t think anyone was quite ready for it. At first, December came with lots of rain, but the clouds cleared up soon enough and mornings were greeted with the most beautiful winter sun. My flat connects to a private park with benches and pathways and lots of green space. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to put on my very warm hiking boots, a cozy dress, blanket scarf, and a hot cup of tea to make a cozy winter outfit come together. Bundled up in all the coziest winter necessities, I would say winter is quite romantic in London.
This is just the typical outfit I’ve been wearing with a nice big and comfy jacket or coat. Puffer coats used to be something I never loved wearing, but since a cozy winter outfit is in order I love pairing this outfit with a simple puffy jacket with a faux fur-trimmed hood. I have been loving the blanket scarf trend as they really do make up a major part of a cozy winter outfit.
Since I’ve still not made too many friends here in London, I still spend big chunks of my weekend exploring the city on my own. I prefer to just walk everywhere since my flat in West London is super connected to everything. This definitely means a few blanket scarves were purchased and a couple of cozy winter outfits have been on heavy rotation and I’m sure they will continue to be! Being bundled up in something like this that is also made of and lined with wool and thermals makes exploring the city that much easier in the winter.
