I’m going through one of those strange moments in my life where I’m not sure how to dress outside of the professional realm, what I should be collecting and discarding, and trying to maximize my closet with just staples as London wardrobes are quite limited. In between all of that I have a weird distate for denim at the moment as well. It’s been a while since I’ve worn jeans and the thought of wearing them makes me shudder right now so I just reach for denim jackets when I can. I’ve come to discover that this vintage denim jacket has added another textural dimension, making possible room for more denim in my closet.
A sweater dream with a denim jacket is something I’ve been loving for the current weather conditions. They don’t seem too far from my regular corporate uniform and it’s easy enough to put together and still look like I’ve tried. I think it’s an easy combination and one that can be altered a bit. Add on a blazer and you can go to work or bring up the sleeves slightly with some bangles with an updo and you’ve got yourself an evening look. A sweater dress and a denim jacket is just what I would go for on a weekend afternoon. I wore this on a Saturday afternoon to run some errands in West London, meet with a friend for coffee in East London, and went down to South London for dinner with a few girlfriends!
