I have officially switched out my summer closet for my autumn/winter closet and as much as I thought I would be broken hearted about it, I always associate the Fall season as a time to re-energize, reassess my goals and treat myself to a few things for the cooler season. Compared to the last, this year has been a lot busier. I have some exciting projects in the works and a few trips I’m looking forward to. To prepare for Fall I wanted to put together an autumn shoe guide that fit the trend and met my needs in being sturdy, stylish and great for my feet.

If you’ve followed me for a few years, you may already know that you will always find me in loafers this part of the year–so I had to add them to the Autumn shoe guide. I think they’re a great way they’re timeless and great for a professional work place or the weekend with some jeans. The silver foil leather gives it a little wow-factor, making any ordinary loafer the perfect statement piece.

With everything going on, I’ve been running around the city and racking up about 10-15,000 steps a day! Weekends are no less really, and I think a pair of luxe sneakers are necessary for any busy girl. The modern gray flannel provides it warmth and texture, they’re lightweight for a day full of errands, and they’re in style with the platform trend and sleek zipper.
