the sweetest start to valentine’s day month
One thing I haven’t mentioned much of on this blog is my obsession with éclairs. I mean, obviously there was a degree of obsessing with the love-filled French pastries as my blog was partially named after it. So I thought I would treat myself. The start of Valentine’s day month {and you may or may not know, but it’s one of my favorite Hallmark holidays}. Naturally, I made my way to Maître Choux for their delectable and gorgeous treats. One just lightly laced of pistachio, the other a true vanilla, one that looked like pure gold, and of course a pink one filled with raspberry… * visit Maître Choux.

greeted with hot chocolate
As we entered, we immediately were greeted with a hot chocolate and a warm chouquette in hand. Three Michelin-star chef, Joakin Pratt does a beautiful job curating delectable pieces of art. I then perused the very pretty streets of South Kensington and it boggled my mind to think about how I hadn’t been back to West London since I lived out there almost 7-months ago. Goes to show that you can really get stuck in your world and routine, so it was nice to escape.
