One of the best decisions I made when deciding where to stay in Mexico City when I visited for about six weeks last year, was to find a flat in the beautiful Roma neighborhood that was the most accessible to Bosque de Chapultepec–the cities largest park lined with grand trees, exotic flowers, momentos of history, a castle and a zoo. I’d make my way in the evenings to the city and find different avenues that led me to different neighborhoods. It was probably one of the highlights of my trip–to be able to escape my remote work from home spot to an oasis. If you find yourself in Mexico City, then be sure to give yourself the time to explore Bosque de Chapultepec. Pro tip: be sure to also include the Historic Center of Mexico City on your itinerary and I’ve got you covered on everything you should eat and drink in Mexico City!
